* Humility: There is no place among Christian leaders for a “know-it-all” attitude. The true leader never ceases to be a learner.
* Courage: We need to challenge the complacent attitude which has been described as “the seven last words of the Church” – “It’s never been done that way before.” True leadership is about leading the Lord’s people to move forward in faith.
* Wisdom: There are some situations where humility is called for – “we don’t have all the answers.” There are other situations where courage is called for – “This is the way the Lord is leading us. We must follow Him.” We need wisdom to know, in each situation, which we need most – humility or courage.
