Even Satan Knows The Truth, Do You.

The Price by Author Leon Newton

The play is about an arrogant millionaire who does not believe in God and Jesus Christ's Salvation for man. The millionaire believes man is the measure of all things and not God. He refuses to accept the fact he is in hell. He believes his paper work must have been misplace and this is all a mistake. The millionaire is told that God does not make mistakes. He demands Satan look into the matter at once and complains it's to hot in hell and asks Satan to turn the air conditioners on.

Satan tries to convince the millionaire there is no paper work mix up and hell is where he belongs. The millionaire not hearing any of it tells Satan he needs better customer service in hell because he would never hire him. Satan has the other residences of hell to give their testimonies of why they were in hell, but the millionaire is unconvinced.

Knowing God

Born in the south of France, the eldest of a family of five children, my origins are French and Moroccan. From the age of thirteen, my favourite hobby was writing French poems and songs. I initially pursued a degree in business administration, but a few years later developed a strong desire to sing. Unfortunately, circumstances didn't allow me to pursue this promising career.

In 1995, I came to the United Kingdom to improve my English. Struggling to make a living while in the UK, my life turned around when I believed and was baptized into Christ Jesus, confessing Him as my Lord and Saviour.


I saw the power of God at work in my life. It was this experience that motivated me to write this first book "Knowing God", which I believe will help those who are seeking God to get a better understanding of the riches of the Kingdom of God.

We Put No Confidence In The Flesh. Our Confidence Is In The Lord. He Is The God Of Our Salvation.

‘Lead me in Thy truth, and teach me, for Thou art the God of my salvation’(Psalm 25:5). We can pray this prayer with confidence. God has given His promise: ‘He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way’(Psalm 25:9). Our confidence is in the Lord. We ‘put no confidence in the flesh’(Philippians 3:3). Jesus teaches us that God hides Himself from the proud and reveals Himself to the humble: ‘…Father…Thou hast hidden these things from the wise and revealed them to babes’(Matthew 11:25). In the life of faith, the most important thing is the right attitude – not the ‘best education’! The proud may concern themselves with impressing ‘the right people’. For the humble, there is something more important – pleasing God. His opinion is the one that really matters!

God Has Heard And Answered Our Prayer For Salvation. Let Us Pray For Others ... That They Will Receive His Salvation.

We have come to God as sinners. He has heard and answered our prayer for salvation. Let us pray for others that they will bring their sin to the Saviour and will receive His salvation. When we pray for others, let us be bold in our prayers. The Good News of grace reaches beyond those whom the world may describe as ” a righteous man” “a good man” (Romans 5:7). We look at the Cross of Christ, and we remember this: “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “Christ died for the ungodly” (Romans 5:6) – This is the Gospel of our salvation. As we rejoice in God’s salvation, let us make this our earnest prayer: “O that the world might taste and see the riches of His grace! The arms of love that compass me would all mankind embrace.” Having received God’s salvation, let us commit ourselves to sharing the Good News of His love: “’tis all my business here below to cry: ‘Behold the Lamb.’”

"A Happy Ending ... "

A happy ending - "salvation ready to be revealed in the last time".

After so much suffering - a happy ending! Job has been brought closer to God (Job 42:5-6). His "friends" have been forgiven by the Lord (Job 42:7-9). Everybody is happy about the way things have turned out for Job (Job 42:10-11). Is there always a happy ending? In this earthly life, we will never reach a stage where there will be no more problems and everything will be just fine. For God's people - "redeemed with the precious blood of Christ" - , there will be a 'happy ending' - but not until "the last time"! For now, we must face many "trials." Beyond our "little while" of suffering there is a 'happy ending' - "salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." We must pray that our "faith, more precious than gold, will be proved genuine and will result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed." (1 Peter 1:3-7, 18-19).

"The Lord Has Saved Us ... "

The Lord has saved us. Let us serve Him. Let us pray, "Here am I! Send me." Let's share His Good News.

"In His Heavenly Glory ... "

In His heavenly glory, Christ is our Lord. In His saving grace, He is our Saviour.

Jesus is taken up into heaven. Saved by Him, let us live for Him.

Raised from the dead, Jesus Christ now sits at God’s right in the heavenly places. He is far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named (Ephesians 1:20:21). His Name is the Name of our salvation. Through Him, we rejoice in God’s wonderful grace: ‘By grace you have been saved through faith… for good works’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).
Saved by the Lord, we are to live for Him. God calls us to live a ‘holy’ life. We cannot make ourselves holy. We are spiritually ‘dead’. We need to be ‘made alive’- by God. Holiness does not come from ourselves. It comes from the Lord. Long before we ever thought of loving Him - He loved us. Our love for Him is so changeable. His love for us is unchanged, unchanging and unchangeable. It is eternal. He loved us ‘before the foundation of the world’. He will love us ‘in the world to come’. This is the love of God, the love which inspires us and enables us to live a ‘holy’ life (Ephesians 2:1; 1:4; 2:7). When we realize the truth concerning ourselves - ‘nothing good dwells within me’ (Romans 7:18 - and God - He is ‘rich in mercy’ (Ephesians 2:4) - , we will ‘praise His glorious grace’ (Ephesians 1:6).

'Jesus Christ', our Saviour and Lord, 'the same yesterday and today and forever', continues to speak to us His gracious words of salvation - 'Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that He may have mercy on him, and to our God for He will abundantly pardon' (Hebrews 13:8; Isaiah 55:6-7). In the countdown towards Christmas, let's not forget Jesus. He's 'the Reason for the Season'!

The Story is unique. Our Saviour is unique. His Salvation is unique. It is only this Story, this Saviour and this Salvation which gives us the strength to face the future with the confidence which says, 'Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ' (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Throughout His great Story, we see Jesus Christ as our wonderful Saviour, the only One who 'is able to save to the uttermost all who come to God through Him' (Hebrews 7:25). He is 'the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world' (John 1:29). He is the great Saviour concerning whom we can still say, 'the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all sin' (1 John 1:7).

When we move beyond our rejoicing in divine grace to speak of those who refuse to come to the Saviour, we must take great care. Some have much knowledge of "the Scriptures." They have had the Gospel of Christ preached to them. They have been shown the way to "eternal life." Still, they have not trusted the Saviour. What are we to say about this? Jesus said, "you refuse to come to Me to have life" (John 5:39-40).

God is graciously speaking to sinners, calling them to return to Him. Sadly, many do say 'No' to Him. We may wonder how people can possibly refuse such a great love as the love of Christ? - This is "the mystery of iniquity" (2 Thessalonians 2:7). Grace breaks the power of sin. This is the great truth of the Gospel. When we speak of 'irresistible grace' we are praising the Lord, we are giving Him all the glory for our salvation. This does not come from us. It comes from Him.

For those of us who have come to Christ, we give glory to God, giving thanks that His grace has reached us and lifted us out of our bondage and into His freedom. Rather than magnifying our own free will, we sing, from the heart, "He drew me and I followed on, charmed to confess the voice divine." We know, in our hearts, the truth of Jesus' words, "All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me" (John 6:37). We also know that there are many who hear God's voice and yet they harden their hearts. Those who have come to rejoice in Jesus Christ may well ask, "How can anyone say 'No' to the Saviour's love?" When we, who have come to the Lord, are giving our testimony, we may well speak of an 'irresistible grace' - "Christ Jesus took hold of me" (Philippians 3:12). When, however, we are calling upon sinners to come to the Saviour, we must speak clearly of the fate of those who, when they hear God's voice, persist in hardening their hearts.

It is through the death of Christ that we are brought out of bondage (Hebrews 2:14-15). Looking to our Saviour, we give all the glory to Him. His grace has reached us. He has drawn us to Himself. There are those who persist in their rebellion against the God of grace. The Word of God comes to them as it comes to us. It comes with the promise of salvation - "He is able to save to the uttermost all who come to God through Him" (Hebrews 7:25). Along with the promise of the Gospel, there is also the warning of the Gospel: "Today, when you hear God's voice, do not harden your hearts" (Hebrews 3:7), "How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?" (Hebrews 2:3)

Our faith does not come from our own free will. We are sinners. we are in bondage until Christ sets us free (John 8:36). Going back to the beginning, we learn that the first sin was not an act of freedom. It was an act of disobedience. It was an act of rebellion against the divine command - " of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat... "you shall not eat ... " (Genesis 2:17). By eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil chose to go their own way rather than God's way. This action led them into bondage. Believing "that old serpent called the Devil and Satan" (Revelation 12:9) - ""You shall not surely die" (Genesis 3:4) - they brought themselves into a bondage which can only be broken when we look beyond "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" where they attempted to take salvation into their own hands. We look from there to another tree - our Saviour "bore our sins in His own body on the tree ... " (1 Peter 3:24).

"By Grace You Have Been Saved Through Faith" (5)

"God, be merciful to me, a sinner" (Luke 18:13). Where does this prayer come from? It comes from the Lord. He puts it into our heart. Those who truly pray, "God, be merciful to me, a sinner" do not take any glory for themselves. They say, "This is the Lord's doing and it is marvellous in our eyes" (Psalm 118:23). They say, "Not to us, O Lord, but to Your Name give glory ... " (Psalm 115:1).

"By Grace You Have Been Saved Through Faith" (4)

God's promise does not say, "Everyone will be saved." It says, "Everyone who calls upon the Name of the Lord will be saved" (Acts 2:21). When we hear Peter's words as an urgent call to faith, we need not fear that, by emphasizing the call for decision, we are preaching a man-centred Gospel, which fails to magnify the grace of God. Many people refuse the grace of God. They persist with the idea that somehow, by their own good works, they might possibly save themselves. Their lack of a believing response to the Gospel does not change that the fact that the God of grace will hear and answer their prayer should they find it in their heart to pray, "God, be merciful to me, a sinner" (Luke 18:13).
